Various reasons why the load demand fails to work on the DSE 8610, but the most common reasons are as follows:

1) The starting method

In order for the load demand to work, the sets must be started using the "Remote Start on Load demand" input. Starting them manually or using the "Remote Start on Load" input will not activate load demand and hence you will not get the calling for more / less sets functionality.

2) The Priority of each set must be set differently. This can be set in Scada >> generator >> Multi set as per attached screenshot.

3) If you have any Duty select inputs active (Welland do not set these as standard) they can also have an effect on the load demand.
