The 1206A-E70TTAG3 engine is a 6 cylinder series turbocharged after cooled engine which offers a great package with a simple integration design. The excellent design and manufacturing of this engine has lead to a highly reliable, quietly operating engine with many hours of productive life. This engine can also be set at either a 50Hz or 60Hz configuration making it even more versatile and it also comes with a tropical radiator as standard for optimal cooling year round.
The engine makes use of a series turbocharger with an after cooler and requires 16 L of oil for lubrication, has a liquid cooled cooling system which requires 25 L of coolant and a total displacement of 7.01L. All these elements combine to produce 333 horsepower (248.6 kWm) at 1500 RPM. Oil service intervals are 500 hours as standard.
The dimensions of this Perkins Engine are 1895mm (74.6") Long, 995mm (39.2") Wide and 1372mm (54") high. The cylinders have measurements of 105mm for the bore and 135mm for the stroke. The engine has a (dry) mass of 807.7kg.
