The 403A-11G1 engine provides economic and durable operation at prime and standby duties making it a versatile compact engine. The engine is only available in a 50Hz configuration.
What are the 403A-11G1 Engines Specifications?
The engine is naturally aspirated, meaning there's no use of a turbo/super charger. The engine requires 4.9 litres of oil for lubrication, 5.2 litres of coolant for the radiator and a total displacement of 1.131L. All these elements combine to produce the 12.7 horsepower (9.5 kWm) at 1500 RPM. Oil service intervals are 500 hours as standard.
778mm (30.6") Long, 438mm (17.2") Wide and 702mm (27.6") high this is one of the smaller Perkins Diesel Engines. Which is also shown by the cylinders having a bore of 77mm and stroke of 81mm.
The flywheel on this engine rotates anti clockwise, as viewed from the flywheel end.
Using this engine coupled with an alternator to make a generator would make for a very all round lower powered generator, or paralleled with more units would increase the output so it can suit the bigger jobs.
