Modifying the Safety On Delay on a Deep Sea Electronics Control Module

The Safety On Delay used on a Deep Sea Electronics Control Module is a pre-determined amount of time that the DSE Control Module will ignore the readings of Engine Oil Pressure, Engine Speed and any other alarms that are set to activate after the Safety On Delay period.

The primary function of this feature is to enable to Engine to get up to speed and stabilise before certain protection alarms are sounded.

This modification can only be made if you are already using the Deep Sea Electronics Configuration Suite. This can be downloaded from the Deep Sea Electronics website.

The Safety On Delay can be changed in the Start Timers section found within the Timers category shown in the image below.

The only time Safety On Delay will be ignored is if the Fast Loading Feature is enabled.
