All Warnings Are Latched is an option that, when enabled, would require an additional input to reset alarms when they are triggered.
This can be used as an additional level of safety and could be the preference of the user or a requirement of the site where the Diesel Generator is installed.
To change this setting a the Deep Sea Electronics Configuration Suite will need to be installed on your computer. This can be obtained by downloading a copy from the Deep Sea Electronics website.
The All Warnings Are Latched option is found under the Miscellaneous Options section as shown in the picture below.
If this option is not enabled the Diesel Generator is considered to be in Normal Operation. Under this condition the warnings and alarms will be reset automatically once the condition that triggered the alarm has been reset.
If this option is enabled the warnings and alarms are latched. This means they require an additional input to reset the alarm. This can either the Stop/Reset button being pressed or an additional input. To use an additional input this will also need to be configured.
Configuring an additional input can be done as shown in the figure below.
One of the Digital Inputs listed in the Inputs section will need changing the the function of Alarm Reset.
