The TAL044K is a robust alternator from Leroy Somer's TAL044 range. The alternator has a single bearing design meaning that it can be easily paired with the majority of diesel engines to make an efficient diesel generator. The alternator is most commonly used for prime and standby power applications in the telecom, commercial and industrial markets.

The TAL044K comes with the option of a PMG, auxiliary wound or self excited excitation system.
