The Leroy Somer LSA44.2 S3 alternator is the second smallest alternator from the LSA44.3 range. It is a 4 pole alternator that can be ran at either 50 or 60 Hz. It has been designed so that it is well suited for all typical generator set applications.

As standard, the alternator has a shunt excitation system but it is also available with an AREP (auxiliary wound) or PMG system as optional extras.
