The Leroy Somer LSA49.3 S4 is the smallest alternator from the LSA49.3 alternator series. The 4 pole, alternator that can be ran at either 50 or 60 Hz making it a versatile option. It has been designed so that it can be used for a variety of typical generator set applications such as rental, backup and telecommunications. 

As standard, the alternator uses an AREP excitation system but it is also available with a PMG excitation system.
